The Riding School at Samsula Stables, with 30 acres and three barns, is the largest show Barn in New Smyrna Beach. The riding school is offering a Christmas special of $10 off any half hour lesson and $15 off any 1 hour lesson with seasoned Trainer Trish Zeiler McEver. Trish has a beautiful show program including greater Orlando Hunter Jumper Association shows and horse shows in the park amongst others.
For beginner Riders, the Riding School offers a prepaid package called Learn2Ride. Students new to horses will be given an introductory ground clinic for safety and knowledge, and then participate in 10 consecutive Saturday lessons. The cost is $400.00 and this represents a discount of nearly 50% off the price of private lessons. Students may participate once and then if they find they would like to continue can pursue private lessons or options ranging from $40 to $80 depending on the type of lesson. The discounted learn-to-ride program will enable parents to keep the cost down while determining if horseback riding is for their child or not.

I had the opportunity to have lunch at The Happy Deli yesterday. It was my first visit, and it certainly won’t be my last! The Happy Deli is located in Venetian Bay in the Town Square on Luna Bella Lane.
They have a wide array of choices of sandwiches, salads and wraps. You can also get meat and cheeses to take home, olive oils and other gourmet items in the market. The counter service was fast and friendly, they have ample indoor and outdoor seating available and they bring your food to your table.
We had the Italian-Cuban and the Baked Brie and Ham Grilled Cheese, both were delicious!
You can have a look at their menu here. They are open from 7:00 am – 8:00 pm Tuesday – Saturday and 7:00 – 3:00 pm on Sunday and Monday.
Check them out if you are in the Venetian Bay area.
We bought my daughter a new bed a few weeks ago at the NSB Sleep Shop. She went in and tried them all out and picked her favorite, made with organic cotton (of course). If you know her this makes sense. So Eric set us all up, we had plans for delivery and Matthew happened. We fled to Georgia and when we returned Eric called me to get it delivered. I had a million things going on and he accommodated my three delivery date changes.
I always try and shop local and have always been pleased with the NSB Sleep Shop. This is the second bed I have purchased from them in the past few years. Very nice people, great service, veteran and locally owned. Check them out on Canal Street in NSB.
You dropped your phone? Maybe your child broke his phone…I have a box full of dead phones from being dropped over the years. I finally started buying the insurance…which really at 11.00 a month and then a $150 deductible is not really a deal.
Check out Smart Cell Repair in Edgewater. They can fix cracked screens, charger ports, camera lenses, pretty much everything. I took my iPhone 6 Plus in for a cracked camera lens. 20 minutes later I walked out with a camera that worked again! The owner recommended a tempered glass cover for it, ad for 20.00 I could not say no. Had I known about this place 6 months ago I would have saved a ton of money on upgrades and new phones.
You can find them on Facebook here. They are located at 2327 S. RIdgewood in the Pelican Plaza. They are open Monday-Friday from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 – 4:00 pm.
Very nice people, locally owned and operated! Highly recommend!
